After reaching the 50th level in Diablo 4, Blizzard's action RPG takes a turn from its simple campaign to the endgame. Glyphs play a key role in this development. The higher the Glyph's upgrade levels boosts its stats and radius of effect on the Paragon Board. There are several methods to obtain these upgrades, but most players will be relying on the primary method: raiding Faction Crypts.
The Glyphs panel lets you add glyphs to your text by selecting them from the menu that is located on the left of the screen. It displays glyphs initially in the font in which your cursor is located but you can switch to another font or type style, and narrow the list of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting one of the options below the Entire Font (for example Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). When you move your cursor over the glyph, you will see its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep the track of your last 35 glyphs and show them under Recently Used in the first row (you must expand the panel so you can see all 35). You can also remove them from this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking a glyph in the list and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
Another advantage of the Glyphs panel is the ability to create and edit the glyph set you want to use, which is helpful when you must type certain types of text often. This will save you the hassle of manually inserting each glyph when you require it.
A custom glyph may have a maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes the base name and its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) and lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9) and underscore (_) and various other glyphs. The glyphs in the suffix could include ligatures or contextual alternates, which are special variants that combine two or more characters into a single, visually unified symbol.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that provides extra bonuses to items, like extra stats. Upgrades are available in three types: rerolling, recycling and leveling up. Each type offers a different set of extra bonuses to an item.
Reroll Tokens allow players to change the base power of an item and the number of upgrades available and are also used to reroll substats in ring. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is lower than the player's expectations or if its current substats aren't ideal.
Rerolling is a cost of 1 token and will reset the item's upgrades but will leave the set, rarity, and level intact. Leveling an item up increases its tier and with each tier, the main stat is boosted by +3, and a random extra stat is boosted alongside it. The rank of an item rises by 1 when you raise an item to the maximum possible level.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players buy new appliances, ingredients and Decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints appear in envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and each category of upgradeable item displays a different icon:
Certain recipes require the use of certain Appliances or Ingredients that can be purchased by selecting a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, which means that they won't be sold in the Shop or on rerolls, while others have a greater likelihood of appearing if an appropriate franchise card is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all items will remain for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product that is made from recycled materials, you're not just helping the environment but also giving that item a new life. The majority of recycled items are returned to their original manufacturer to be remanufactured as a new item. This is what we refer to as "closing the loop of recycling."
